We did just this and finally tried out Red Light Chicken located on 11th Street—and wow, it did not disappoint! 🚗💨 I would describe it as the ultimate “no-frills, all the flavor” neighborhood spot. The energy is lively, completely unfussy, and full of that classic Mother Road charm. With plenty of easy parking right behind the building, it’s tailor-made for a spontaneous, “let’s grab a bite just the two of us” kind of evening. No reservations are required—just pure, relaxed comfort. 🍗 They served us some of the best crispy, golden-brown fried chicken I’ve had in a while. You can get their bone-in fried chicken and massive tenders regular or with some serious spicy heat! Either way, you can’t skip the Southern comfort sides. The mac & cheese and the green beans with bacon are savory perfection, and the warm honey butter rolls are delicious. Mission accomplished. 😴🙌 If you have high-energy kids, this place is an absolute game-changer. Here is a quick breakdown of what my boys couldn’t stop talking about: • The Ninja Warrior Course & Battle Beams: They spent solid time channeling their inner stuntmen, trying to knock each other off the beams and racing through the obstacles. • The Trampolines & Foam Pits: High-flying flips, safe landings, and zero screen time involved. • Bumper Cars & Climbing Walls: There is so much packed into this indoor space that they didn’t even have time to say “I’m bored” once. My favorite part was that the facility is CLEAN, and the layout makes it easy to keep an eye on the kids while they explore.
